When loading SNTPCLN4 on my NetWare 4.10 server I receive a message to th=
at
SET TIMESYNC HARDWARE CLOCK is set to ON and I should set it to OFF or
SNTPCLN4 may not work. I understand this parameter but I have the
following question ...

I have five NW4.10 servers and one server is configured as a SINGLE time
source and the remaining four servers are configured as SECONDARY. My go=
al
was to load SNTPCLN4 on the SINGLE time source server and the remaining
four would get their time from this server. By turning SET TIMESYNC
HARDWARE CLOCK to OFF, my SINGLE time source server should get its time
from the designated NTP source rather the hardware clock, and then the
SECONDARY time source servers would receive their time from the SINGLE ti=
me
source server.

Is this plan OK? Should I have any concerns about setting TIMESYNC
HARDWARE CLOCK to OFF on my SINGLE time source server?

Thank you for any input.
