I agree, this error message should probably be removed, but it is easy
enough to get rid of it by inserting a 'SET DEFAULT TIME SERVER TYPE =
REFERENCE' statement near the top of the AUTOEXEC.NCF file.

Since this parameter will be overridden by whatsever in the TIMESYNC.CFG
anyway, it cannot hurt.
