Here some general notes about the listserver:

This listserver supports autonomous list management using its
built-in mail server (maiser@mail2.neatech.ch).

Users can perform most list-related actions by sending a message to
'maiser@mail2.neatech.ch' with commands entered into the message
body, one per line. Please don't add your signature in the message body,
since this will generate a error-message, which is sent to the list-
administrator.

The following commands are recognized for list management.

SUBSCRIBE sntpclnt Add the sender's address to the list
also SUB sntpclnt

UNSUBSCRIBE sntpclnt Remove the sender from the list
also UNSUB sntpclnt
or SIGNOFF sntpclnt

LIST Returns the lists available at this host

Please be carefull, and send the SUBSCRIBE / UNSUBSCRIBE commands only to
maiser@mail2.neatech.ch

When you send a UNSUB to the list, then this unsubscribe message is
distributed just as normal messages are... (and you still remain in the list)

When you have subscribed to the maillist, then you can send messages
to 'sntpclnt@mail2.neatech.ch'

The intention of this discussion list is to provide a forum, where
users of maintini & mtwin can share experiences, problems. It's
a wonderful place to discuss/request new features.

RULES OF CONDUCT
----------------

0 - If you are in holiday or out of the office, and setup a automatic email
reply, be sure TO NOT REPLY to messages from this list. If only one user
does it, we have no problem. But when two users do it at the same time,
we get a ping-pong email telling each other that he is out of the office.
The last time this occured, I got 440 messages until I could stop it !!!!
(And of course all list subscribers got those messages too !!!!)

1 - If you want to reply to a conversation in this list, consider whether
your reply would be best sent to the list, or to the originator of the
message. Replying to the list generates a copy of your message to all
of the subscribers ... and generates a lot of mail.

2 - When sending a message to the list or replying to a message from it,
carefully edit your reply so that it only contains information that
pertains to the conversation. Excessive info can be distracting and
disturbing to the other recipients.

3 - Avoid sending negative or editorial comments ... you never know who may
read your message, or the results.

4 - Please edit the subject line of all postings to accurately reflect
your subject.

5 - Please limit "quoting" of previous messages to that portion of the
message necessary to keep the thread. Excessive quoting generates
unnecessary traffic and expenses for the backbone and hubs. Blank
lines should be kept to a minimum as well. DO NOT quote complete origin
or tear lines (---,etc) when replying to a message.

6 - If you have questions, problems, or suggestions, please address them to
neatech@dial.eunet.ch, not to the list.
