Pump Article - Updated! (March 16th,
1998)
This is a summary, written by Herbert Menke, of an article by Kim
Crouse that originally was published in the December 1995 in the Windows

message flow in Windows. Power++ specific aspects have also been added.
In this updated version, there is information about the new
paint message documented in the Microsoft Internet Client SDK. Also, the
file is now distributed in RTF format.

- The
STL Made Simple
This is a nice short introduction to the Standard Template Library. It
introduces each of the container types and gives examples with each one.
The author of the site has also made available Java book online, which
may be useful as an introduction to many OOP techniques. He will also be
putting up the latest revision of his Thinking C++ book once his Java
book is in print.
